There are dozens of different types of university rankings. From national and international rankings to comparisons of faculty and student outcomes, there is no shortage of ways to judge universities. Of course it didn’t take long before a new type of university rankings appeared: social media.
Top 100 Social Media Colleges Spring 2012
Student Advisor has updated their social media rankings of US institutions. Harvard has now taken the number one spot which was previously held by John Hopkins. A screenshot of the top 10 is shown below but you can see the full list by clicking here.
UK Vs. US in Social Media Effectiveness
Sociagility, an internet marketing consultancy company recently published a study that compared UK and US universities in terms of social media effectiveness. They found that the UK lags behind its overseas counterpart.
